Stephanie’s practice is focused on energy, commercial real estate and general business- related issues. She provides legal advice, counsel, support and guidance to energy and commercial real estate developers’ business operations, focusing primarily on the companies’ real estate interests as they relate to energy generation, energy storage and commercial real estate transactions. She also manages general corporate legal matters and transactions including equipment, operating, software, consulting, services, confidentiality and other related agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie was Associate General Counsel at Invenergy, a leading privately held global developer and operator of sustainable energy solutions, including wind, solar, thermal and energy storage facilities. During her tenure at Invenergy, Stephanie successfully facilitated the completion of several renewable energy projects across the United States totaling more than $1 billion in financing and project sale transactions, including both the largest wind and solar facilities in North America. Stephanie also completed a number of pre-construction project purchases and sales and post-construction refinancing due diligence.
Prior to her work at Invenergy, Stephanie served as counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company managing commercial and residential title insurance claims and resolution of same for insured lenders and owners across the United States.
Stephanie is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois. She received her J.D. from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and her B.S. from DePaul University.
In addition to practicing law, Stephanie is dedicated to various philanthropic pursuits. She has served as both member and Secretary of the Associate Board for Make-A-Wish Illinois and has also volunteered at several local humane societies to help care for the animals. Stephanie is currently an active member of the Hinsdale Junior Women’s Club, an organization dedicated to helping women and children in the Chicagoland area.
