Drew focuses his practice on data protection, intellectual property, venture formation & financing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
He also serves as “outsourced” general counsel to crypto funds and emerging companies operating in the online marketplaces and MarTech spaces. In this role he becomes part of the team, addressing day-to-day legal matters, compliance, and business challenges. Prior to joining Litwin Kach, Drew was an attorney in a patent boutique where he led patent licensing campaigns for clients in the wireless telecom and oil & gas industries.
Drew also has substantial entrepreneurial experience, which has been particularly advantageous when counseling early-stage companies. He was part of the founding team of an early online platform for hiring freelance legal professions, and most recently he launched PintHub, a local mobile marketing platform for the Texas craft beer industry. Drew has also served in product management in an early-stage SaaS contract management company and as a network administrator at Motive Communications, an enterprise software company now a part of Alcatel Lucent.
A lifetime Longhorn, Drew received a B.B.A. in Honors Business and Engineering Route to Business, a J.D., and M.S. in Technology Commercialization—all from The University of Texas at Austin. Drew is licensed to practice law in Texas.
